Now this would be a reunion for the ages!
The internet is going gaga over Kristen Stewart right now, and fans are going so far to dream cast her as the next big Batman villain now that her former Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson is playing the Caped Crusader. But how does she feel about that?
"I love the energy behind that," Stewart said, when Clayton Davis asked her about whether or not she'd be interested in teaming up with her Twilight co-star again to play iconic Batman villain The Joker on the Variety Awards Circuit podcast.

When Davis asked if that was a definitive "no," Stewart replied, "Not 'no,' but not the most stoked I've ever been. Let's do something new."
The Joker has been one of the most widely portrayed comic book villains, being played by everyone from Mark Hamill, to Jack Nicholson, to Jared Leto, to Heath Ledger and Joaquin Phoenix.
“@Variety imho this is the one gender bending casting for Joker (besides Martha Wayne) that I’d be totally down for. Not only would Kristen make a great Joker, but the history between her and Pattinson would generate so much on-screen chemistry between the archenemies it’d be insane”— Variety (@Variety) 1634751593
For now, Stewart is starring in this fall's Spencer, which is already garnering her huge Oscar buzz. She plays Princess Diana in the film from Pablo Larrain, which follows the legendary princess as she decides to leave her life with the royals over a holiday weekend.
After that, she's starring with Viggo Mortensen and Lea Seydoux in David Cronenberg's sci-fi film Crimes of the Future. That film takes place in a near future where "humankind is learning to adapt to its synthetic surroundings" and evolving into transhumanism.
