'Drag Race: All Stars' 5 Is Back At VH1 — Here's the Queens
A few months ago RuPaul's Drag Raceannounced that they would air All Stars 5 on Showtime. The move was received ... how should we say ... poorly by fans. Showtime is a premium channel that not everyone has. The whole plan was a scheme to up subscribers on Showtime. Well, the ongoing global pandemic has put a stop to that -- for the premiere at least.
A new release says this season's All Stars queens will be sashaying back into the Werk Room in a VH1 premiere Friday, June 5 at 8 p.m. We'll see them go through the rigamarole of singing, acting, dancing, sewing, and lip syncing for their legacies. The grand prize: a spot in the "Drag Race Hall of Fame" and $100,000. But apparently, there's a little something extra?
"For All Stars 5, we've come up with a new twist that is so twisted it's guaranteed to twist your twisted minds," RuPaul said in a statement. Um, excuse me what?
On second thought we're not even going to try to figure that out. Watch their Werk Room entrances below and view all the queens competing in our slideshow.
