Meet the New Cast of ‘The L Word: Generation Q’
The L Word is returning with The L Word: Generation Q this fall to inject our lives with some much needed BDE (big dyke energy), and while we don't know much about the plot, we now know which actors from the original series will be returning and what new actors will be joining the drama.
Fan favorite characters Bette Porter (Jennifer Beals), Shane McCutcheon (Katherine Moennig), and Alice Pieszecki (Leisha Hailey) are all returning, alongside new additions: Dani Nunez (Arienne Mandi), Micah Lee (Leo Sheng), Sarah Finley (Jacqueline Toboni), and Sophie Suarez (Rosanny Zayas).
According to a press release, "The L Word: Generation Q continues to follow the intermingled lives of Bette Porter, Alice Pieszecki, and Shane McCutcheon, along with new characters Dani Nunez, Micah Lee, Sarah Finley and Sophie Suarez as they experience love, heartbreak, sex, setbacks and success in L.A."
Bette Porter (Jennifer Beals)
Beals starred as Ivy-league educated power lesbian Bette in the original series.
Shane McCutcheon (Katherine Moennig)
The androgynous Shane was a fan-favorite character in the first run of The L Word.
Alice Pieszecki (Leisha Hailey)
Alice was The L Word's resident bisexual journalist.
Dani Nùñez (Arienne Mandi)
"Dani is a powerful and calculating PR executive whose ambition is only tested by her conscience."
Micah Lee (Leo Sheng)
"Micah is an earnest, soft-spoken adjunct professor who is forced to confront his fear of vulnerability."
Sarah Finley (Jacqueline Toboni)
"Sarah 'Finley' is a charming but unfocused assistant who struggles to reconcile her sexual orientation with her religious upbringing."
Sophie Suarez (Rosanny Zayas)
"Sophie is a TV producer who guards her heart and is quick to put other people's needs before her own."
