Kristen Stewart is looking regal and stunning as Princess Diana in a new movie and we are ready to bow down.
Last summer we learned that Stewart would be playing the iconic princess in the upcoming film Spencer from director Pablo Larrain, and now we have our first look at her royal transformation.
Variety reports that the film, named for the Princesses' surname, "focuses on one weekend in the life of Princess Diana, as she spends the Christmas holiday with the Royal Family at the Sandringham estate in Norfolk, and decides to leave her marriage to Prince Charles."
The rest of the cast includes Timothy Spall, Sally Hawkins, and Sean Harris and is written by Steven Knight, the creator of Peaky Blinders. It looks like it could be a big awards contender, especially after the runaway success of The Crown, which focused on Princess Diana this season to great acclaim.

"Spencer is a dive inside an emotional imagining of who Diana was at a pivotal turning point in her life," Stewart said. "It is a physical assertion of the sum of her parts, which starts with her given name: Spencer. It is a harrowing effort for her to return to herself, as Diana strives to hold onto what the name Spencer means to her."
Last year Stewart was in millions of homes across America as Abby, a lesbian who goes back into the closet when she visits her girlfriend's family home in Happiest Season, which became the most-watched Hulu Original or acquired film of all time.
Spencer is currently filming in Germany and the UK and is expected to be finished in time for a fall 2021 premiere.
