Lady Gaga's dog walker was shot and hospitalized Wednesday night while walking the superstar's dogs in Hollywood. Two of the dogs are now missing.
According to LAPD, a robbery occurred at 9:40 Wednesday night when Gaga's dog walker was shot, and her two French bulldogs Koji and Gustav were stolen. Her third dog, Asia, ran away from the altercation and was retrieved by Gaga's bodyguard. The dog walker was hospitalized, but is in stable condition.
The shooter was described as male, used a semi-automatic handgun, and fled the scene in a white sedan going northbound toward Hollywood Boulevard. Gaga is currently in Italy filming Gucci, but a rep for her confirmed it was her dog walker and dogs.
Two representatives for the Oscar and Grammy winner also said that Gaga is offering $500,000 for the safe return of her two bulldogs. They say Gaga "is offering half-a-million dollars to anyone who has her 2 dogs, no questions asked," and encourage "anyone who has the dogs can use this email - [email protected] - to retrieve the reward."
Gaga has three French bulldogs, Koji and Gustav, and Asia. Asia was the first of the three she got, in April 2014 when her then-fiance Taylor Kinney surprised her with the puppy. The next year, she also adopted Asia's brother, Koji. Next came Gustav in November of 2016. Asia has an Instagram account that hasn't been updated since March of last year.
